Agoura Hills

We were able to see Steve's office this morning after he did his 10K at the Great Race of Agoura. Since it is not close to our home we have not been out to see his office and this was a nice chance since we were already in the area for the race. It is so pretty where he works, although not close, he is thankful for the hills he can look at each day. Jack is sick so we took pictures with him since he wanted to be held most of the day. By the end of the day he was exhausted (we had to leave the house at 6am), fussy and feverish.

AWANA Grand Prix

Here are the kids doing their school. Jack decided he wanted to color and join the fun that day. It usually last for about a minute then he is all done.


Carter raced his police car on the far left and in the next one Katy raced her Pony car. They both made it to the second round which really doesn't mean much except they got to race twice. Daddy took a picture of Mommy and Jack waiting. Jack was sick so we left early but the kids had a fun time and Jack cheered on the cars.

My boys

I do love that boys and girls are so different! I find so many things that are so unique and that I appreciate in them! My boys are loud, busy, and love to eat. My daughter has a very loud voice but loves to sit and color all day, practice writing, and do the typical girl stuff, and eats like a bird (she didn't get that from me!).

Around the house

I just love all the activities that go on around our home. Katy came out the other day ready to shop with her purse and some hills on and asked if I had any old receipts, Gift Cards, a shopping list, etc so she could pretend to shop. She said she was going to Subway to get me a picture.

Jack's up to sucking on his fingers more than normal since he is teething and VERY fussy.

Carter is up to dancing and being a goof.
There's no picture of me but I'm up to trying to keep in shape to keep up with the three I've just posted about. I'm kinda tired just thinking about it. I got back from AWANA and ran 2 miles not sure why but because I think I didn't eat the best today and needed to burn a few more calories. I think when you are tired you just do strange things that don't really make sense and there was a lot of crying in the nursery tonight that it just made me a little wired. Anyhow better get to the shower and wind down before I wind up again.

My photography attempts today

I haven't used the camera lately and have yet that to figure it out like I should but as I was outside today the "trash" in our backyard suddenly caught my eye. We have this old metal windmill that my dad finally took apart and I have yet to put it in the trash and am glad that I didn't because it looks a little artsy don't you think? At least it doesn't have to smile for me and it won't move when I finally get it in focus.

My kids on a Sunday afternoon

I love the age of my kids, although they are all young, they are usually all doing something different and crazy. Like today Katy made a kite with a napkin and tied a ribbon to it and was thrilled at how it "soared" through the sky. Love that girl!

Carter's not the most excited about pictures these days but I had to get one of him and his missing tooth. The other one is almost out too!
And then there's Jack just wanting to be outside doing anything that is dirty.
