Nannie and Papa painted Katy's Room a pretty aqua. Now she has her own space and she loves to play for hours in her room.

Getting to know our little Jack

If you ask Katy she will tell you that Jack is a good crier.  He has good pipes on him especially if you put him down for a nap in his crib.  Today I was holding him while he was screaming and Katy told him "It's okay Jack".  She says it so sweet and motherly.  Then she told him that she was going to tell him a story about a mouse.  Jack continued to cry so she said "oh, maybe he doesn't like mice".  "I am going to tell him a story about a bear instead".  Carter also was so sweet today. While I cooked dinner he held Jack with the Boppy pillow and told him stories.  I think the kids tell him stories to calm him down because they love to be told stories.  It's cute to see how their little minds work.  They try so hard to comfort Jack with the things they like to be comforted with themselves.
