Growing up....turning 7!

Katy girl turned 7 this week and boy has the time flown by. It has been such a delight to be her Mom. Being the simple gal that she is we just went swimming with friends and she wanted a dinner at home with Manicotti, Gnocchi, and a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I actually was cooking most of the day besides the part we were at the pool in the late morning and early afternoon. It made me ponder how the Pioneer Woman does it...I was so tired from standing all day and my hands are still cracked from all the extra dish washing. Although I wouldn't trade the labor for the joy it brought me to serve and to see the thankfulness of our sweet girl.
