Memorial weekend with Nannie and Papa

My Mom and Dad with tired Jack, Katy and Carter.  We were sad to say goodbye after a fun weekend with them.

How does she know these things?

Katy always surprises us.  On our road trip this weekend she saw a Geiko billboard and said look "We can save you money with Geiko".  And just a few minutes ago she held up a Kudos bar and said "Is this 100 calories?", and sure enough that's what it said on the front.  We don't let the kids watch much TV mostly just videos so I have to guess that she knows this from the commercials.  It's encouraging and frightening all in one how much she picks up.  I guess they now market toddlers with all the slogans.

Our garden and sprinklers

This is Katy "sun-mataging".  I think is a cross between sunbathing and a massage?
Our squash plant has grown a lot since the warm weather has come
Our green bean plants
Our fun sprinkler from Nannie

Birthday Dinner

Steve and the kids took me out for a birthday dinner the day after my birthday.  No one was really excited about pictures as they were hungry and wanted to eat instead.

Birthdays

We celebrated my father in laws birthday this week (which happens to be my Birthday too).  He turned 84 this year.
