Spring and baby doves

The dove is back this year and here she is with her 2 little babies.  She sat there so patiently for a couple weeks and then in the last couple days I noticed her new additions.  I think we will leave the nest there for next year.  Makes you wonder if it's the same mama dove or a different one that found the nest this year.  It's right outside our front door.

Sunny Days

Jack in the swing...his favorite park activity

and on the turf drooling
Sunny Days require bare feet, soft grass.....
jeans with holes in the knees...
boys in the sand...
baseball caps, brothers...
little girls refusing a picture...
and brick castles on the patio...

Thank you Lord for sunny days to enjoy outside!

Lemons

Here's what we did with some of the lemons we picked today.
We used our hand juicer which was hard since some of the lemons were very large
Carter with the finished product.  We didn't make too much since it took a long time to squeeze the juice out of them.
Mommy's lemon bars
I pulled Jack's jumperoo into the kitchen so he could join us
Here's the parrot I made during our lemon intermission.  Carter kept asking for one to go on his shoulder like the pirate's have.  Not the best I know but I taped it to his shoulder and he seemed happy with my effort.

Friday Happenings around our house

The kids always amaze me at their imaginations. We have been picking lemons since the tree is producing so many (if you have any good recipes I'd love them) and Katy decided to do her own "invention" with them. This was first a person, then a spider, a dragonfly, and finally ended up a lemon lollipop that was squirting juice.
Katy later wanted to play pirates with Carter and they needed more boats so her teacup became one and she just added some oars. Notice the pirates, army man, and princess all in the scene.
And what could be cuter than a baby's thighs that you just squeeze all day!

Mommy I need a diaper change
Carter was plenty busy too just not around when the camera came out. He played in his room for a long time while Mommy was busy cleaning the floors, bathrooms, and kitchen which was easier to do while the kids played outside or in their rooms.

Please continue to pray

For Grace Mark and her family as they trust the Lord and lean on Him during this time of grieving.  Their blog link is posted to the right.
